I've been using the newborn diapers for 2 1/2 weeks now. It says on the package that it's up to 10 lbs and then the size 1 diapers says 8 - 15 lbs. When can I start using the size 1 diapers? It's just that I've got a lot of size 1 diapers and was just wondering how many more newborn diapers I'll need to buy. My baby is probably about 7lbs 5 oz now.

I am absolutely overwhelmed looking at the endless products available/necessary for cloth diapering! I used cloth diapers for my babies (many years ago) and there was basically 1 choice. You got a cloth diaper, plastic pants and diaper pins and you learned how to put it together. NOW - there are diaper "systems". How do you know what is needed, which is most convenient, and best for baby and new mother both? I am looking for a great product for my soon to arrive grandson. Thank you!

My 5 month old has out grown a lot of his diapers. Obviously I don't want to throw them away...how long will they "be good" for? I'm thinking of saving them for the next baby but that won't be for at least 2-3 years.
